Kota Stone Waterproofing 7 Step Process

Step 1
Dismantle the existing floor, tiles and weak concrete if any, and prepare the surface by cleaning & levelling.
Step 2
Laying 40mm thick base cement concrete 1:3:4 (Cement :1 Quartz sand :3 Kota stone aggregate chips 10-20mm nominal size ).
Step 3
Polymer grouting over the layer of cement concrete mixing with Polymer or equivalent @ 0.5kg cement per sqm with 0.5 kg Polymer mixed in water.
Step 4
Laying Kota stone chips over 30mm thick cement 1:3 (1 cement : 3 Quartz sand ) the area keeping 5cm gap between two stone.
Step 5
Over the Kota stone chips polymer grouting over the layer of cement concrete mixing with Resikon 400 or equivalent @ 0.50kg cement per sqm with 0.5kg Polymer mixed in water.
Step 6
Providing and laying 20 to 25mm thick IPS finish with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Quartz sand).
Step 7
Over the IPS finish polymer grout with Polymer or equivalent @ 0.50kg cement per sqm with 0.25 of Resikon 400 or equivalent mixed in water.
